Object Detail

The cauldron is a shaped white ceramic souvenir ware container that features 'U' shaped upturned handles, a fluted top edge and three curved legs. The cauldron has a pseudo point at it's base. A hand-coloured transfer depicting Maori children diving off the bridge over the Puarenga Stream, Whakarewarewa, decorates the other surface on one side. The top handles and feet are touched with gold leaf.
