Description
The handmade corsage has been made from recycled stockings created by stretching the hosiery over moulded fine wire. A flower has been created with four large petals covered with pale nylon knit, three inner petals in pale yellow, three in gold, and a centrepiece of frayed black acrylic thread. A bud has been made from the gold nylon, and two leaves from olive green stocking fabric. The fabric of each component is gathered at the base, amalgamated into a brown covered wire stem and the intersection bound in green thread. A main stem has been made from black coated (probably) electrical wire.
