Description
China candle holder with a wide round flared base rising to small flared flat rim at neck. Body glazed light lemon, with gold transfers above base, and under flared rim at neck. Base and outer rim at neck of holder trimmed in cerise, gold ring at neck inner rim. At centre front, gold 'ribbon' encircles black and white transfer image with 'New Bath House, Sanatorium Grounds, Rotorua N.Z.' printed below. Gold 'ribbon' ties into large bow above image of Bath House tower. Transfer of open pink rose on green leafed stem at neck and at either side of Bath House image. Base and candle inner plain white glaze, unglazed foot.
